The Taste of Charleston's main event comes on the third and final day: The Main Event at Boone Hall Plantation.
It's Sunday, October 12, from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. At it you can Sample food more than 40 of Charleston's finest restaurants. Here's some more from their Web site:
The event also includes the legendary “Waiter’s Wine Race,” Food & Wine Pairings, imported & specialty beers, Cooking Demonstrations, the “Best of the Taste”, East Coast Party Band on the main stage, and a Kids Corner (complete with a petting zoo).
Gates are open 10:30am to 5:00pm and tickets are $10 each in advance and $12 at the entrance the day of the event. Children under 10 are free. Food tickets are sold in $1.00 increments at the main event. No pets or coolers are allowed.
