If a morning run, or tree lighting ceremony aren't really your think to kick off the Christmas season, go for a pub crawl, The Chucktown Santa Pub Crawl.

The Chucktown Santa Pub Crawl is a great way to start the Holiday Season with your friends and meet new people, all the while helping a local charity. Carolina Children’s Charity is a local nonprofit organization that focuses on helping kids in the lowcountry with birth defects and childhood diseases. Your donation is a great way to give back to the local community and bring some holiday cheer to a child in need!

Santa/Christmas costumes are mandatory. Check your local Wal-Mart for something off the rack. Of course, we encourage you to be CREATIVE and come up with any other type of Christmas costume your imagination comes up with!

The festivities start with a check-in at Mad River frin 4 to 6 p.m., and then continue through at least 11 as the fun winds through: Moe's, The Griffon, Blind Tiger, Johnson's Pub, Henry's, and, finally, Light.

Tickets are $20 and go to support Carolina Children's Charity, in return you'll get drink specials at each bar.
