Once you have had enough of Christmas with the fam', it's time to get some fresh air. Here are some local joints that want to help you celebrate.
North Charleston:
The Mill in Park Circle is hosting a Co-worker Christmas Night with the V- Tones at 7 PM with Yuletide drink specials.
West Ashley:
Gene's Haufbrau is open, of course. Appropriately decorated for the holidays, with over 150 different beers, and a healthy dose of board games, Gene's is always open on Christmas. But don't come hungry. Doors open at 6:00 PM, but the kitchen is closed for the evening.
Downtown:
The Upper Deck Tavern is hosting their third annual There is No God TING Art Show. Doors open at 6 PM and the dress code is wear black, white and optional red. Enjoy DJs and party specials at the bar.
Acs Bar & Grill is also opening their doors at 6 p.m. on Christmas Day, so bring your Christmas money and be prepared to stretch it for Beer of the Month. Big John's
Tavern on East Bay is celebrating 12 Days of Christmas with a grand prize giveaway on Christmas night. Stop by anytime this weekend for your chance to win free booze and schwag, and be sure to show up on Christmas to take a stab at winning a 3day/2night stay in Vegas and more free booze and schwag.
