This Sunday, June 13th, Folly Beach is going totally gay. Ok, not totally, but it is the seventh annual Big Gay Beach Day!

Charleston Area Mpowerment Project is hosting the event, which is free and open to the public from noon to 5 p.m. on the 1600 block of East Ashley Avenue.

The afternoon will be filled with all kinds of fun including a DJ, volley ball games, a guys versus girls tug of war battle, a slip n' slide and much more. Please remember Folly's rules: alcohol is permitted (no open containers, no glass-bring a koozie); no pets; park with your tires off the pavement going with the flow of traffic.
