First reporting:
Head out to Isle of Palms on Saturday, May 23, to watch families and friends compete in the Piccolo Spoleto Sand Sculpting Competition.
The event starts at 9 a.m. at the Front Beach on the Isle of Palms.
This is a free event where individuals and teams of up to four will compete to win a number of titles.
- Best of Show - Adult’s event (Ages 20 and older)
- Best of Show - Family event (At least one adult & one young adult or child)
- Best of Show - Young Adult’s event (Ages 15 - 19)
- Best of Show - Children’s event (Ages 14 and under)
- Best Architectural
- Most Creative
- Best of Show - Overall
Registration on the day of event will begin at 8:30 a.m., and a t-shirt will be presented to the first 250 registered participants. Judging starts at 10:30 a.m. for the children's events and is staggered through 12:30 p.m.
