First reporting April 26: In just a few days, Charleston's water parks will reopen and offer up a great way to beat the summertime heat.

Splash Zone, Splash Island, and Whirlin’ Waters Adventure Waterpark all open for the season on May 7th and are open weekends only in early May. Splash Zone opens daily beginning May 23rd, Whirlin’ Waters is open every day beginning May 30th, and Splash Island is open daily beginning June 3rd. Waterpark hours of operation are 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
