The Myrtle Beach Holiday Parade - the city's only parade - will be held at Broadway at the Beach on Saturday, Dec. 1, at 11:30 a.m. to kick off the 2012 holiday season.

Parade registration will be accepted from now through Friday, November 16th. Local businesses, non-profit organizations, civic organizations, beauty queens/princesses, political candidates, marching bands, military groups and media outlets are all welcome to participate.

Interested parties can complete the Myrtle Beach Holiday Parade application on the Broadway at the Beach website or by contacting Melissa Armstrong at (843) 913-9325. There is a $25 fee for commercial businesses who wish to participate in the parade. The fee is waived for all other types of parade participants.
