The Paparazzi New Years Ball, held at Vue (Ripley Pointe) is the place to be for ringing in the 2010 New Year. Providing a creative and original way, this event offers more where others fall short. Beau Burns's creative and original idea of bringing a Hollywood atmosphere to the Holy City for New Years separates the event from the pack. "Hopefully this year's Paparazzi Ball will provide our guests an opportunity to ring in the New Year to a different and exciting tune no one has ever heard. None of the other local New Year's events will offer so much at a budget friendly price. Imagine spending your new year as a famous rock star, controversial rapper, sleazy politician, famous Hollywood movie star, etc," says Burns. "We are offering 5 hours of all you can drink alcohol (liquor and beer), a VIP section, disco balls, ice sculptures, fireworks and 5 hours of live music in a lavishly decadent venue for 75$ per ticket."
Arrive with a smile and walk the Red Carpet at this year's Paparazzi Ball to the sound of clicking cameras, flashing lights and all the glitz and glamour Hollywood is all too infamous for. Carolina Nightlife and PalmettoShots will be clicking and flashing their cameras outside and inside the event throughout the evening.
At 9pm sharp, the Ball kicks off with the 7 member, number one hired party band in Charleston, Super Deluxe. Shake your thing and party through the evening as they play their catalog of popular funk, blues and rock favorites of all time. Song requests are encouraged!
At 12am, a complimentary Champagne toast will be served to the event's guests as you watch the Ball Drop on the big screen and view the Charleston Harbor fireworks. DJ Midnight continues the party til 2am, bringing down the house with music from all genres - Disco, Hip-Hop, Dance, Dubstep, and Progressive House (ALL with virtual DJ ESP.)
