While we await the opening of their second location, come listen to some mighty-fine local and regional country/rock talent at the "Allstar Americana Jam and Crawfish Boil" at Fiery Ron's Home Team BBQ on Sunday, May 3rd.

Here's all about it from an e-mailed press release:

The Allstar Americana Jam includes musical performances by Stewart and Winfield with Lindsay Holler, Jonathan Gray (of Jump), Reid Stone and Patrick McClary (of Daybreakdown), Michael Trent, Jim Marshall (of Junkyard Angel) with David Nickel (of Bloodkin) & Jack Burg. Tickets are $12 at the door.

"Continuing the tradition of our Blues Bash Allstar Jam, the Allstar Americana Jam will feature some of Charleston 's finest country/rock talent as well as the return of Athens, Georgia's Stewart & Winfield," said Talent Buyer Tony McKie. "With crawfish season is at it's height and the weather warming to summer standards, there is no better time to showcase these artists. Expect many special guests invited by those on the playbill."

Founded in 2006 by Aaron Siegel and Randy Abraham, Fiery Ron's Home Team BBQ has won many awards including the Best BBQ, Best Ribs, Best Jazz and Blues Club, Coldest Beer and Best Bar Staff in Charleston. In addition to award-winning menu selections, Home Team offers large party takeout orders, full service catering and delivery. With nightly entertainment including live music and plenty of TVs for sports viewing, the bar also provides a fun nightlife scene. With two locations in West Ashley and Sullivan's Island, Home Team is the spot for a work lunch, casual family dinner or a great night out on the town with friends.

It's $12. The event runs from noon 'til 10. Fiery Ron's is at 1205 Ashley River Road in West Ashley.
