Charleston's Holiday Market continues at the North Charleston Coliseum, offering "offers arts and crafts, specialty foods and fashions, gifts that glitter, music and magic - everything to make your holidays bright." 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. It's back on Sunday, too. $7 admission gets you in for all three days.
Charleston Collegiate School's fourth annual Oyster Roast and Chili Cook-off. At the Poplar Grove Boat House on Rantowles Creek from 5 to 8 p.m. Tickets are $20 for adults ($25 at the door) and cheaper for kids. Buy online.
