Ring is the New Year at the Platinum Ball

If you're looking for a unique New Year's Eve experience, look no further than the New Year's Eve 2011 Platinum Ball.

Downtown Charleston's Hippodrome has been chosen as the venue, and Marcus Amaker, editor of Charleston Scene will be the host with the most throughout the evening. The evening is set to include a lineup of live DJs whose sets will be projected on the hippodrome's massive screen, fire dancers, an open bar, a red carpet a midnight balloon drop and more.

General Admission tickets are going for $75 per person and includes an open bar all night and a champagne toast at midnight. For $150 you can score VIP treatment with a premium bottle of choice with all the mixers and a bottle of champagne in your own private seating area. Also, you'll have your choice of two rooms with different genres of music as well as a limo shuttle to and from your residence in the Charleston area. There's a 5 person minimum per VIP table.
