Legare Farms is promising and old fashioned spring picnic on Saturday, May 9th from 4 to 8 p.m.

The farm will serve up its own products in the from of hamburgers, beef sausage, pork ribs, potato salad, sweet corn, and ice cream, among others.

Sounds fresh and tasty.

There will also be croquette, horse shoes, and three legged races. The ladies are encouraged to wear spring hats.

Tickets are $25; $10 for those 5 to 14 years of age. Be sure to buy your tickets in advance through Legare Farms (843) 559-0788.

The farm is at 2620 Hanscombe Point Road on Johns Island.
