First reporting: The Glass Onion has announced that Ari Weinzweig of the world famous Zingerman's Delicatessen will be on hand at a very special Bacon Tasting Dinner on April 12th.
The menu has yet to be released, but here's what we know so far:
It's $60 for three courses and a signed copy of Weinzweig's Guide to Better Bacon. It's $35 for dinner only. The dinner coincides with COAST Tuesday, and it'll be $15 pitchers of HopArt IPA all night long. The Bacon Tasting Dinner will run from 6 to 10 p.m.
The Charleston City Paper has a nice preview of the dinner along with background Weinzweig and his passion for pig; read it here.
