High Cotton to celebrate the wines of Burgundy, France

It’s a  celebration of some of the most highly-respected wines of Burgundy, France when High Cotton hosts a wine pairing dinner on Thursday, February 9th, for the Louis Latour Winery Dinner. 

Guests will be treated to wines from the world’s top négociant in Burgundy.  A négociant is a French term for a wine merchant who buys grapes from others and blends, bottles and sells the wine under his or her own label. The wines from Louis Latour Winery are made with grapes from different villages from all over the Burgundy region. A representative from the winery will be in attendance to discuss the wines further. 

Chef Ramon Taimanglo has prepared a four-course menu that includes oyster, roasted stuffed rabbit loin, classic  cassoulet, roasted monkfish and more. The evening will begin with passed hors d'oeuvres and sparkling wine.

The dinner begins at 6:30 p.m. The price for the dinner is $65 per person plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are required and can be made by calling (843) 724-3815.
