Rare Beer Tuesday busting open a bourbon barrel-aged masterpiece

Tonight at 5 p.m., stop by The Charleston Beer Exchange when they tap a ridiculously amazing keg on their growler station.

This week's 'Rare Beer Tuesday' has everyone at the craft beer market fired up for Foothills Brewing Company's Bourbon Barrel-Aged People's Porter. This is an absolutely delicious roasty and creamy porter to start and then it is aged in select, wet Kentucky Bourbon barrels to add beautiful notes of oak and vanilla.

The People's Porter has a smooth dark brown color with a tight little head of brown that hangs on the sides for just a few moments before slipping back into the glass. The aroma is heavenly with rich chocolate and cocoa, tons of vanilla and woody notes.

The beer has received an impressive A- on BeerAdvocate.com and an overall score of 92/100 on RateBeer.com.

This extremely limited, draft only beer is rarely available so don't miss out! The Charleston Beer Exchange is located downtown at 14 Exchange Street.
