Slightly North of Broad Celebrates 18 Years of Great Food in the Lowcountry

Slightly North of Broad will be celebrating 18 years of award winning food and great hospitality, Tuesday, December 13th, with a day full of features for guests.

Slightly North of Broad opened in December of 1993 at 192 East Bay Street by Dick Elliott, David Marconi and Chef Frank Lee with the idea of offering fresh, local and affordable fare in a neighborhood gathering place. The restaurant has received numerous awards and recognition, both locally and nationally in its 18 years and has become a culinary landmark in Charleston. In 2008, Slightly North of Broad was inducted into the Nation’s Restaurant News Fine Dining Hall of Fame.

The celebration will kick-off as Chef Lee brings back some oldy but goody lunch menu items,  plus  drink specials all day featuring $5 Maverick Private Label liquors including our specialty cocktails. In addition, guests who make reservations in advance will be offered half price bottles of Maverick wines and champagne.

Anyone is welcome to choose their favorite dishes from the past 18 years on the special 3 for $30 menu for the evening.  To ensure your favorite dish is included, vote by December 9th by clicking here http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/D9T2M8T
