Gone are the days of poking pins and plastic pants.  The modern cloth diaper is soft, absorbent and just as convienent as a disposable but is safer for your baby, your budget and our environment.

Whether you are already a cloth diapering parent or you want to learn more, please join us for the 1st Annual Great Cloth Diaper Change - Charleston

In honor of Earth Day and to bring awareness to the modern cloth diaper, parents all over the world will come together on April 23rd, to set a Guinness World Record for the most cloth diapers changed simultaneously.

Our local event will be hosted by the City of North Charleston and co-hosted by Katherine Loichinger (Lowcountry Diaper Parties by Everything Birth), Carrie Wells (Bitty Bottoms), Heather Post (Modern Cloth), Beth McNealy (The Teeny Turtle) and Jennifer Cangelosi (Cloth Diaper U) .

The big change is set to take place at the Felix C. Davis Community Center in the middle of Park Circle in North Charleston. Doors open at 11 a.m. so all participants are asked to please arrive on time to get set up for the change.

Please go to www.facebook.com/GreatClothCharleston for more information and to pre-register.  The first 100 pre-registrants will get a awesome cotton tote bag loaded with coupons, samples and information from some of your favorite local business!  Also, there will be fabulous raffle prizes for just $1 per entry benefitting The Real Diaper Association (RDA) a non-profit 501 (3)(3) organization dedicated to informing parents about cloth diapers while emphasing responsiblity and sustainability.
