Millennium Music closing and farewell party

Update: The Post and Courier adds a few more details, like the rent for the store was $30,000 (according to a lease for the space).

Original story: After 15 years Charleston's landmark music store Millennium Music is closing. But they're going out with a party starting at 2 p.m and going until 8. It's free, there's free food and free music. Great discounts, too.

Though the store will be closing forever, it will be able to continue its online presence by opening a warehouse in Mount Pleasant. The store had originally planned to close May 1.
