Tristan hosting a 'Bakesale for Japan' on April 2nd

On April 2nd, “Bakesale for Japan” hits California, New York, Seattle, Boston, Austin and now Charleston, South Carolina as local restaurant Tristan joins the nationwide effort to raise money for disaster relief in Japan.

During their dinner service on Saturday, April 2, Tristan will donate 100% of their dessert proceeds to the cause.

The effort, started by California Bay Area chef Samin Nosrat, will donate all proceeds to Peace Winds Japan, a sister charity to Peace Winds America. Nosrat organized a similar bakesale for Haiti last year and raised over $23,000.
