Holy City Beard and Moustache Society doesn't usually support beard destruction, but at this Sunday's pub night one of the founding members, Captain Crawdad, will be shaving for the first time in years.

Surf Bar on Folly Beach will play host to this month's meet-up from 8 p.m. to 12 a.m. Beardy local band Dangermuffin will be playing music and Coast beer will be flowing while the group discusses events for the fall including the upcoming annual back to school supply drive and new t-shirt designs.

Donations will be accepted as Captain Crawdad (aka Brad) shaves off his beard that has been ten years in the making. All of the proceeds will go to Special Olympics South Carolina.
