City of Charleston putting on days and days of Halloween fun

Looking for some Halloween fun of the family-friendly variant? 

Well, the City of Charleston is promoting a half-dozen things to do that run from Monday, October 24, through the 31st proper.

(Oh, and don't forget the Children's Museum is doing some family friendly Halloween fun on the 29th and the S.C. Aquarium's Fish or Treat is the 28th.)

Here's the rundown:

Friday, October 28: Trick or Treat in the Park, Hampton Park
(Rain Location: Arthur Christopher Community Center) Free; 4 to 6 p.m.

Near the lagoon in Hampton Park, children 12 & under dress up to trick or treat along decorated parked vehicles. Jump castles, a costume contest, face painting, hay rides, games and prizes, and more. (843) 724-7327

October 24-29: McMahon Playground Haunted House
7 to 10 p.m. $2 per person

Haunted House Join the City of Charleston as we take you through rooms of thrills and chills!

Wednesday, October 26: Moms Club Halloween Happy House Trick or Treat
James Island Recreation Complex. 10:30 a.m. to noon. $1 per child, 6 months to 4 years

Wednesday, October 26: St. Julian Devine Casper's Castle & Teddy Bear Picnic

Saturday, October 29: Web Weavers
Tiedemann Park Nature Center. 10 to 11:30 a.m. Free

Learn a little more about our 8 legged friends, the spiders. Do all spiders catch food in webs? Why are spiders good to have around? These and many more questions will be answered. All participants will also make a spider craft to help decorate their homes for Trick or Treating!
