On April 29, S.C. Secretary of Commerce Bobby Hitt will join area business and community leaders, educators and others to reveal Opportunity Next – a strategic roadmap for securing the three-county region’s economic future over the next five years and beyond.

Opportunity Next is a collaborative effort by hundreds of individuals and organizations. This event is designed to inspire organizations and individuals to work toward a common goal: a supercharged regional economy. All regional organizations have a role to play in this strategic plain. The effort was spearheaded by The Charleston Regional Development Alliance.

The program will begin promptly at 10:45 a.m., but all wishing to attend are asked to have checked in by 10:30 a.m. Admission is free and the event is open to everyone. As for the location, head out to North Charleston's The Complex for Economic Development at Trident Technical College, located at 7000 Rivers Avenue.
