Gobble gobble: Go for a run before the big dinner at the Turkey Day Run (update: record run, photos)

Update November 26: It was a good year for the Turkey Day Run with 5,260 people crossing the finish line -- that 1,00 more this year than last.
NBC News 2 and The Post and Courier have write-ups from the race and the paper also a photo gallery where for the first time a Kenyan won.
First reporting: Downtown Charleston's ever popular Turkey Day Run is back Thursday, November 25, at 9 a.m.

Registration for the 5K run/walk through downtown Charleston is $35, and $40 day of the race. It kicks off in Marion Square. Register here.
