A Rugged Maniac 5K challenge is coming to the Charleston area on March 26th.

Combining the most rugged terrain and burly obstacles, this rugged race is not for the faint of heart, frail of body, or weak of mind. The Rugged Maniac 5K was designed with the assistance of Navy SEALs to push your limits and determine how rugged you truly are.

It isn't all rugged, however. After finishing up the race all participants are treated to a rocking after party with live music, food and plenty of beer. Woop woop!

Boone Hall Plantation has been pegged as the location for this year's race. Registration is open now and is still set at $58 per person. After February 25th, the price jumps up to $68 per person.
