Update July 17: The Battery won 1-0 before 2,787 at their Daniel Island stadium.

The win keeps the team in first place in the USL Second Division.

First reporting: Come out and watch the Charleston Battery battle it out with the Real Maryland Monarchs tonight at Blackbaud Stadium.

The Battery enters the game in first place in the USL-2 standings while the Monarchs are in sixth. Charleston defeated Real Maryland 1-0 back on April 27th, tied 2-2 in the second meeting on May 29th. This will be the third meeting between the two teams before their final regular season match up on July 25th.
