Chant's soccer moves multiple spots in national rankings, polls (update: undefeated conference season)

Update November 6th: The Chanticleers beat Campbell in their last regular season home game this weekend.

The 5-1 win puts their regular season record at 16-2 and they are undefeated in the Big South conference. The Chanticleers are the #1 seed in the Big South Tournament and they will face the UNC-Asheville Bulldogs in Boiling Springs, N.C. for the first round of the on Thursday, Nov. 10 at 2:30 p.m. 


First Report: Hot off a long-running winning streak, Coastal Carolina University men's soccer is getting some national rankings love.

After their 9th conescutive win, the Chanticleers have advanced three spots to 13th in the SoccerAmerica Poll for its highest ranking of the year. The club also moved up two spots to 17th in the CollegeSoccerNews poll and up three spots to 17th in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America rankings. Coastal travels to Rock Hill, S.C., to face the Winthrop Eagles Saturday, October 29th at 2 p.m. The last regular season home game will be against Campbell November 5th at 12 p.m.
