CofC defeats SoCon leader Davidson 86-78

Update February 13: Led by a double-double performance by senior Antwaine Wiggins, the College of Charleston knocked off Southern Conference leader Davidson, 86-78, in front of a Homecoming crowd of 5,112 on Saturday afternoon.

The win puts the Cougars at 16-10 for the season and 8-7 in Southern Conference play.

The Cougars will next travel to UNCG on Wednesday, February 15th, at 7 p.m.

First reporting: The College of Charleston's men's basketball team is hosting the Davidson Wildcats on Saturday night, and the home game against the Southern Conference rival has sold out.

CofC has now sold out five home games this season. The Cougars last hosted Davidson in front of their all-time largest crowd of 5,368 at the venue on December 29, 2008 and could draw close to the same attendance number on Saturday.
