Cougars kick off baseball season tonight versus the Highlanders

The College of Charleston opens its 2010 baseball season with a weekend series against the visiting Highlanders from the Big South Conference.
The Cougars' secret weapon and 2009's Southern Conference Player of the Year, Joey Bergman, returns for his final season. Bergman had a .452 batting average, while drilling 15 home runs last season and has been selected as the 2010 SoCon Preseason Player of the Year.
