The Jessica Jennings Golf Tournament will be held on November 12th 2011 at River Oaks Golf Course. This event is helping to raise money for a local college student dealing with the effects of a brain aneurysm.

Jessica was a 21 year-old student at Coastal University and worked at King Street Grill in Myrtle Beach.  On August 18, 2011 she was taken to the hospital, complaining of neck pain.  A CT scan revealed an aneurysm.  Unfortunately, as she was being prepped for surgery it 125 burst, a condition most people do not survive.

Jessica is now living at home learning how to use her motor skills over again during her intense stay in rehab. With no insurance she is not able to afford the medical bills that she is receiving and is not able to work due to her injuries. The funds raised from the golf tournament will help her pay those bills and keep a positive outlook on what's to come for her.

The tournament will be held at River Oaks Golf Course, 831 River Oaks Drive in Myrtle Beach.  The event will have an 8:00 a.m. shotgun start and fees are $75 per person or $300 per team.  There are also sponsorship opportunities.  For more information contact Jason Lee at 843-267-6964 or chrisjasonlee80@hotmail.com, or Gretchen Clark at 603-499-1340 or gclark2013@yahoo.com.

The tournament includes gift bags, prizes, food, and beverages.  One-hundred percent of the proceeds go to support the Jessica Jennings Charity Fund.
