On your marks, get set, paddle! For St. Patty's Day, bring your stand up paddle board, dogs, kids and friends out to the first ever Shamrock SUP Race.

The race will be held from 8 a.m. until noon on the Folly River. All racers and spectators should show up at 83 Center Street to get in on the fun.

As far as races go, there will be a 10K, a 5K and a kids/dogs race. Entrance fees vary and rental boards will be available for $10 a pop. Part of the proceeds will benefit Pet Helpers.
