Lowcountry Power Pilates, LLC today announced the launch of its new program, Barre Fusion, with a free introductory week.

Barre Fusion is a unique workout that blends the Barre method with Pilates ball and mat, Plyometrics, Yoga stretching and intense bursts of cardio. Free trial workouts are available to the public from May 16 - 21.

“We are excited to offer Barre Fusion to the Charleston community as it’s the perfect complement to our studio’s services,” said Joyce Olender, owner of Lowcountry Power Pilates. “This class is filled with moves that are challenging and fun for everyone.  We’ve focused on combining components of various methods to help our client’s improve strength, flexibility and range of motion, while targeting areas that need it the most – legs, seat hips and abs.”

Olender opened Lowcountry Power Pilates in 2005 after using Pilates to help strengthen her injured back. As a certified Power Pilates trainer, she specializes in helping clients with special needs, such as pre and post-natal conditions, as well as those recovering from injury, surgery or stroke.

“Our goal is to help our clients feel and look the best they can. Barre Fusion will help them get there,” said Olender. “We worked with East Shore Athletic Club to create one of the largest barre studios in our community – accommodating up to 25 people.”
