USC football's first game is against N.C. State

Update August 28: Today's the big day for USC: They play their first game of the season in Columbia at 8 tonight against N.C. State. You can watch the game on ESPN.

While N.C. State holds the series record, a win today could tie it for the Gamecocks, who have an 18-9-1 record against N.C. at home.

USC's expected to win by 12.

Original post: South Carolina will play its first football game of the year against North Carolina State on August 28 at 8 p.m.
