USC takes on No. 1 Florida: We do this weekend's college football roundup (updated)

Update November 14:

Clemson managed a pretty solid win and so now hopes of Clemson making it to the ACC championship rest with how well Boston College performs -- who is now at the start of the 2nd quarter against UVA.

Meanwhile the USC vs. Florida game is far from a blowout with the teams tied 7-7 in the first quarter.

First reporting:

Our state's football game of the weekend is clearly Florida's visit to Columbia, where ESPN's computer simulation has given the number one-ranked team nine-to-one odds against the now unranked South Carolina Gamecocks.

To that effect, ESPN has a nice preview full of stats, meanwhile The State has a nice piece about the atmosphere in town leading up to the game.

The paper also has their own preview of the game.

The game is at 3:30 and will air on CBS.

Meanwhile

Clemson also plays a somewhat less interesting game against NC State, that said the game is key for any ACC title hope the come-from-behind team has. -- ESPN has a nice preview and gives Clemson the 69%-30% edge.

Clemson plays at N.C. at noon.

The Citadel is at Chattanooga at 2 p.m. Listening info.

Stony Brook is at Charleston Southern at 1:30 p.m. Listening info.
