This weekend is chock full of local collegiate baseball games

Good news baseball fans: there are plenty of games taking place this weekend to curb your cravings.

The College of Charleston will be hosting UNC Asheville all weekend long at Patriots Point and The Citadel welcomes Saint Joseph's, Marshall and Radford this weekend to The Charleston Crab House Shootout.

The Cougars will be hosting UNC Asheville Friday at 5 p.m., Saturday at 1 p.m. and Sunday at 1 p.m. The Cougars head into the weekend 4-0 on the season and the Bulldogs enter with a 1-2 record. You can read up on both teams' play thus far at the College's Athletics page.

The Citadel will open The Charleston Crab House Shootout tournament by facing Saint Joseph's on Friday at 4 p.m. Last weekend in The Citadel Memorial Challenge, The Citadel went 2-1. They defeated ETSU, 4-1, and Delaware, 8-7, before narrowly falling to No. 34 Kansas State, 2-1. The Bulldogs are in their 13th season at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park.
