The Explorers Club w/ Special Guest The High Divers and HADLEY

The Explorers Club are a pop/vocal harmony band formed in the coastal town of Charleston, SC in 2005.   The music of the Explorers Club is heavily influenced by the vocal harmony styles and production of The Beach Boys. They are also influenced by classic rock and rollarrangements as made popular by The Beatles, Chuck Berry, Phil Spector, The Zombies, The Monkees and The Byrds.  Classic Songwriters such as Jimmy Webb, Burt Bacharach, and Paul Williams have greatly impacted the band’s sound as well.   The band has released two critically acclaimed albums – 2008’s Freedom Wind and 2012’s Grand Hotel with a brand new album on the way in Summer 2016 entitled Together.  Many of the Explorers Club’s songs have been featured in film and television on major networks such as CBS, Fox, and HBO.  They have shared the stage with the Apples in Stereo, Earth, Wind, and Fire, Cheap Trick, Dave Mason, the Zombies, The Polyphonic Spree, and many other acts in the band’s ten year history.  The band features Jason Brewer, Wyatt Funderburk, Kyle Polk, Paul Runyon, and Mike Williamson.
