The Pickens County Cultural Commission is on a quest to preserve more than 40 prehistoric rock carvings made centuries ago by American Indians.

The campaign, called 'Preserving a Place of Ancient Voices,' is hoping to raise $400,00 to create a South Carolina Rock Art Center for the incredible pieces.

The Greenville News has the story.
