The Charleston Battery has teamed up with The Buccaneer and Queen Anne’s Revenge to offer a special 'Battery Tuesdays - Kids Eat Free' promotion for local youth soccer players.

Beginning February 16th, children who come to The Buccaneer or Queen Anne’s Revenge restaurants on Tuesday evenings wearing any soccer jersey will eat for free.

Here's a bit about the participating restaurants for those who've never been:

The Buccaneer, a Neighborhood Dining Group restaurant, brings the spirit of the sea to the plate with a menu that features fresh seafood and produce, regional dishes of the Lowcountry, and an extensive selection of craft beers. Similar to its sister restaurant, Queen Anne’s Revenge, the Buccaneer houses one of the nation’s largest collections of artifacts of the “Golden Age of Piracy,” referring to the period of piracy along the Carolina coast from 1690 to 1730. The Buccaneer is open seven days a week for lunch and dinner. Live entertainment is featured every Friday and Saturday night in The Buccaneer Tavern, and the restaurant’s comfort-inspired brunch is sure to become a Sunday tradition.

Queen Anne’s Revenge, a Neighborhood Dining Group restaurant, has classic American cuisine, serving great steaks, prime rib, local seafood, pasta, sandwiches, salads, and more. Known for its food, drinks, and fun historical atmosphere, Queen Anne’s Revenge is dedicated to the authentic history of piracy along the Carolina coast. Enjoy the deck with flickering gas lanterns and live entertainment. Open for lunch, dinner, and Sunday brunch.
