A sandwich staple throughout the Carolina's is delighting Conway and Grand Strand residents alike. Groucho's Deli has been pumping out their signature sandwiches at their location across from Coastal Carolina University since March.

Groucho's, a Carolina born franchise has been making folks happy since 1941 when founder Harold "Groucho" Miller opened his first store. But, where did the name Groucho's come from?

"When Pop first opened this store, Columbia was a small town, and everything had a label. Here he (Harold Miller) was this really crazy kind of guy. Always, joking. Always had a big cigar. A mustache. He looked like Groucho Marx, he talked like Groucho Marx, and to Columbia, he was Groucho Marx. So that is how the name came about."
