The Taco Spot stakes a claim on Coming Street

Downtown residents in the mood for a killer grouper taco will no longer have to leave the peninsula or stalk the Taco Utility Vehicle because the Taco Spot has set up digs at 221 1/2 Coming Street.

The new Taco Spot took over what was formerly Pep 'n Cheese, a tiny nook of a building lodged between Cannon and Spring streets. Luckily, with a new paint job and a nice big Taco Spot sign, this little gem of a place will be hard to miss.

For those who aren't familiar with the West Ashley Taco Spot menu, it is stacked with meat, fish and veggie tacos, taco salads, quesadillas, burritos, wraps, chips, dips and sides. The downtown restaurant is serving up the same exact menu, which you can peep online.

In addition to ordering your tacos in house, the downtown Taco Spot is offering up free delivery to the peninsula for any order that is over $10.

We here at TheDigitel love Taco Boy and Santi's, but like we always say: the more taco joints, the merrier.
