The Charleston Beer Exchange sent out a press release about two exciting events for all the hop heads out there.

Here's what's up:

Tomorrow (Tuesday 9/15) we will have COAST's newest seasonal release on the growler station! This is a brand new double IPA, not to be confused with their previous double IPA "Boy King". As of this time, the new beer is simply called "Double IPA (#2)". It is much more aggressive on the hoppy/bitter side revealing a beer that, uncharacteristically for COAST, does not strive for balance. The ABV sits at around 8.5% and without the malty backbone the Boy King had this one is going to be a superstar for the true hop heads!

As we do every Tuesday at 5 p.m., we'll be tapping an extra, extra special keg on the growler station for our "Rare Beer Tuesday" featured growler. This week we are very pleased to present Great Divide Tripel! This will be the only appearance of this incredible Belgian-style strong golden ale in the state so come get a growler of this gem while you can. We don't have much so it won't last long.

The Charleston Beer Exchange is located at 14 Exchange Street, downtown.
