Starting Thursday, February 7 and running through next Wednesday, Darwin Week will evelop the College of Charleston.

Started over a decade ago by CofC biology professor Robert Dillon, Darwin Week features a myriad of leactures, discussions, and film screenings discussing Charles Darwin's theory of evolution and its effect on disciplines ranging across science, religion and more.

A full schedule of events can be found on the Darwin Week page here.

Prior speakers have included biologists, paleoanthropologists, cosmologists, and geologists, each of who have discussed the impact of evolution in their respective fields.

"We try not to have really narrow scientific seminars where scientists just talk to scientists," Dillon says.
