Lake Wateree fish to be tested for cancer-causing pollutants

After federal data showed that predator species in Lake Wateree were testing positive for above normal PCB levels, the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control has decided to begin testing fish for the cancer-causing pollutant.

The tests are to be conducted next year to determine if fish in the popular reservoir are unsafe for human consumption.
