Horry Electric Cooperative is raising fees
Horry Electric Cooperative will be raising both their flat facility fee in October and their rates for electrcity use next June.
The utility performed a cost analysis and determined they weren't charging enough to cover their actual costs. The rate increase on electricity usage was approved in April.
