More parking (and construction) coming to the Charleston airport

With Boeing roosting in Charleston, Southwest here, and a general buzz returning to the economy and area, the Charleston International Airport is looking to expand.

This time, the focus is on parking: doubling the parking garage size and adding in another paved lot for some 425 spaces.

Come later this year or early next year, the airport also hopes to have a big expansion of its two concourses and baggage claim area underway.
