Folly Beach officer fires at car

A Folly Beach public safety officer fired about five shots at a car that he thought was trying to hit him early Monday.

The incident came after the officer tried to stop a "late-model white Cadillac sedan." As the officer motioned for the driver to stop, the driver appeared to speed up, at which point the officer opened fire.
