Internet predator operation nets Goose Creek man

Attorney General Henry McMaster has announced the arrest of Zachary M. Hille, 21, of Goose Creek.

The Attorney General’s Office alleges that Hille solicited sex on the Internet from an individual Hille thought was a 13-year-old girl. That person was actually an undercover Orangeburg Police officer.

Here are more details from the release:

Hille was arrested on one (1) count of Criminal Solicitation of a Minor (§16-15-342), a felony offense punishable to ten (10) years imprisonment and one (1) count of Dissemination of Obscene Material to a Minor (§16-15-345), a felony offense punishable to ten (10) years imprisonment.

The U.S. Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), also a Task Force partner, assisted with the investigation and execution of a search warrant that resulted in the seizure of a laptop computer, a camera, and other computer-related items.

Hille was assigned a $30,000 bond.

This is the one hundred fifty-ninth (159th) arrest for the Task Force.
