Photos and delays: A roundup of yesterday's snow in Charleston

It turns out that we did get that much hyped snow flurry after all, only that flurry dissipated as soon as it made touchdown.

Still the winter weather left plenty of awe in an area that rarely sees snow -- and plenty of traffic headaches on bridges that froze up, delayed flights, and black ice on roads.

The Post and Courier has a nice report that hits on both topics, while their photo gallery is of a more cheery nature. If you missed the snow in Charleston, NBC News 2 has some raw video that will give you an idea of the rate of snow.

And that's it for snow and rain -- we're due to slowly warm up through New Year's Eve.
