DNR plane makes emergency landing on Isle of Palms beach

On Friday afternoon a small, single-engine plane manned by the S.C. Department of Natural Resources made an emergency land on Isle of Palms' beach.

Several area news agencies posted write-ups and imagery, but The Post and Courier leads the way with their morning-after write-up -- go read it.

Also, the paper reports that the plane was a Cessna Centurion that was out surveying for turtles.
