From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today, police, firefighters, emergency medical specialists and South Carolina National Guard members will be participating in a training scenario on how to handle a chemical weapon of mass destruction at a school.
The drill is set to take place on Mount Pleasant's Six Mile Road at the former Laing Middle School.
So, drivers on Highway 17, consider yourselves warned and remember: it's just a drill.
The Post and Courier has a bit more on today's training session; read it here.
