Here's one you don't hear everyday: at about 7 a.m. this morning a woman gave birth inside of a car on the Ravenel Bridge.

According to The Post and Courier, "Authorities say the woman and her family members were heading to the Medical University Hospital this morning about 7 a.m. when they apparently took a wrong turn on Meeting Street and ended up on the entrance ramp to the bridge."

With no more time to get to the hospital, the woman gave birth two minutes before the Charleston County EMS team reached them on the bridge.
